The second largest producer of Apple in India is Himachal Pradesh. The role of Himachal Pradesh in the cultivation of Apples is equally significant as Jammu and Kashmir. Geographically HP is perfect for the cultivation of Apple as it offers a mild climate and corrugated slopes, which is ideal for its cultivation. It contributes to nearly 20 per cent of global apple production. The Apples grown in Himachal Pradesh are delicious with excellent texture and vibrant color. 3. Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand is the third largest producer of Apples in India. The state contributes to nearly 2.52 per cent of total Apple production in India. The diverse terrain, climate, and lush valley of the state make it an ideal location to cultivate Apples. Uttarakhand is known for apple varieties like Red Fuji and Sun Delicious. These types of Apple are famous for their taste and appearance. The state also supports Apple farmers through various schemes and programs. 4. Arunachal Pradesh
