Aspirants Web Series Season 3 Cast & Crew, Story, OTT Platform

Aspirants Season 3 returns to the familiar world of ambition, friendship and civil-service dreams, but the stakes are very different now. Abhilash Sharma is no longer simply a UPSC aspirant trying to survive Mukherjee Nagar. He is a District Magistrate whose decisions are under scrutiny, and a formal inquiry threatens both his career and the friendships that once helped him through his hardest years.

The season continues the show’s two-timeline structure. In the present, Abhilash faces allegations made by Sandeep Ohlan and a new professional rival in Pawan Kumar. In the past, a younger Abhilash has already qualified for the IRS but decides to take one final shot at the IAS. Naveen Kasturia, Sunny Hinduja, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Abhilash Thapliyal, Namita Dubey and Tengam Celine return, while Jatin Goswami joins the principal cast. The five-episode season premiered on Prime Video on March 13, 2026.

Aspirants Season 3 Cast

Naveen Kasturia as Abhilash Sharma

Naveen Kasturia returns as Abhilash Sharma. In the present timeline, Abhilash is the District Magistrate of Rampur and faces a formal inquiry after allegations are raised against him. Professionally, he is also fighting to secure an Education Town project. The past timeline shows him after qualifying for the IRS, when he decides he is still not ready to give up his IAS dream.

Sunny Hinduja as Sandeep Singh Ohlan

Sunny Hinduja returns as Sandeep Bhaiya, now seen in a far more complicated relationship with Abhilash. Once a mentor and source of guidance, Sandeep becomes the officer whose allegations trigger the inquiry. Their conflict is especially effective because professional duty and personal history are difficult to separate.

Shivankit Singh Parihar as Gurpreet ‘Guri’ Singh

Shivankit Singh Parihar plays Guri, one of Abhilash’s oldest friends. His relationship with Abhilash again comes under pressure as the inquiry and the Education Town project raise uncomfortable questions about loyalty, influence and old friendships.

Abhilash Thapliyal as Shwetketu ‘SK’ Jha

Abhilash Thapliyal returns as SK, whose friendship with Abhilash remains strained. The season revisits the emotional distance between them and shows how unresolved events from their aspirant days continue to shape their adult relationship.

Namita Dubey as Dhairya Singh

Namita Dubey plays Dhairya Singh, one of the most grounded members of the original group. Dhairya remains an important emotional bridge among the friends and is closely connected with the inquiry that threatens to divide them further.

Tengam Celine as Deepa Nabam

Tengam Celine returns as IPS officer Deepa Nabam. Her relationship with Abhilash becomes more serious, but their personal future is repeatedly interrupted by the pressures of public service. A dangerous police encounter also places her at the centre of one of the season’s most emotional stretches.

Jatin Goswami as Pawan Kumar

Jatin Goswami joins Season 3 as Pawan Kumar, an old rival from Abhilash’s Mukherjee Nagar days who is now the District Magistrate of Sambhal. His return creates competition in both timelines. In the present, Pawan becomes Abhilash’s main rival for the Education Town project.

Kuljeet Singh as Walia Uncle

Kuljeet Singh returns as Walia Uncle, a familiar figure from Abhilash’s aspirant years who helps reconnect Season 3 with the Mukherjee Nagar world of the earlier chapters.

  • Abhishek Sonpaliya as Suryapal
  • Mallika Prasad as Radha Rajesh

Aspirants Season 3 Story

Season 3 opens with Abhilash facing problems in two different periods of his life. In the past, he has already qualified for the IRS, but his mentor Radha Rajesh questions whether he truly wants to settle for it. Abhilash decides to return to Mukherjee Nagar and make one final attempt at becoming an IAS officer.

That decision brings new pressure. He has to rediscover the emotional balance needed for preparation, deal with the uncertainty of the exam process and face Pawan, whose ambition turns him into a serious rival. The season also touches on the divide between Hindi-medium and English-medium aspirants.

In the present, Abhilash is a District Magistrate, but success has not made life easier. Sandeep Ohlan’s allegations lead to an inquiry that puts his administrative record under scrutiny. The case also affects his equations with Guri, SK, Dhairya and Sandeep, reopening tensions that have built over the years.

At the same time, Abhilash is competing for an Education Town project in Rampur. His rival is Pawan, now DM of Sambhal. Their old Mukherjee Nagar competition returns in a different form: two former aspirants are now government officers trying to prove whose administrative approach is stronger.

The personal storyline is equally important. Abhilash and Deepa’s families want them to move ahead with marriage, but both have demanding public-service careers. When Deepa is injured during a police encounter, Abhilash has to balance professional pressure with fear for someone he loves.

Like the earlier seasons, the third chapter is not only about clearing an examination. It asks what happens after the dream is achieved. Abhilash has the career he once wanted, but power brings accountability, competition and difficult compromises. The contrast between young Abhilash and DM Abhilash gives the season its central tension.

What Makes Aspirants Season 3 Different?

The biggest shift is that Abhilash now faces the consequences of success rather than the uncertainty of failure. The UPSC preparation storyline remains, but it runs beside a more adult conflict involving public office, an inquiry, administrative competition and damaged friendships.

Jatin Goswami’s Pawan adds a fresh rivalry while the return of Guri, SK, Sandeep, Dhairya and Deepa keeps the emotional continuity intact. Season 3 connects Mukherjee Nagar’s idealism with the harder reality of life inside the system.
