Driving License Chhattisgarh: How to apply, Eligibility, Fees, Status, Search

• Online procedure

The online application process is quite easy as the applicants need to visit the website parivahan.gov.in/parivahan. After visiting the website http://cgtransport.org/CGTS/Default.html, one can click on the online services option, and then you can choose the driving license related services. You will have to enter Chattisgarh in the place of the state. You will have to choose a new DL option, and then you can get the form. After filling up the form with zero errors,  you can submit it online. You will also need to provide the scanned copies of all the asked documents. You need to book for the driving license test, and then you need to appear for the test on given date & time. If you pass the driving test, you will be eligible to get the DL in Chhattisgarh.

• Offline Procedure

With the Offline Procedure, one has to visit offline RTO from where you can get the DL form. After filling up the form, you can submit all the necessary documents with it in office. You will be asked to pay the application fee and then you will have to book for DL test. When you appear for the DL test, you will get the license delivered at your home.  

Eligibility to apply for DL in Chhattisgarh

The applicants who want to get the driving license in Chhattisgarh need to fulfill the eligibility criterion. The candidates who are below 18 years old can’t get permanent driving license, but they can apply for a learner’s license. The candidates from 16 to 18 years old can get a learner’s license. Fees to get a driving license

The applicants who are interested in getting a driving license has to pay fee to get the driving license. Any applicant who wants to apply for DL in Chhattisgarh will be asked to pay an amount of Rs.200 for the driving license. If someone wants to get an international driving license, then he/she needs to make payment of Rs.500. The applicant also needs to make payment for the driving test, and that is only Rs.50/-.
