Kohrra Season 2 is a Punjabi-language crime thriller that takes the series into a new town, a new murder investigation and a different police partnership. Kohrra Season 2 Story
Season 2 begins after Garundi is transferred from Jagrana to Dalerpura. His new commanding officer is Dhanwant Kaur, a policewoman whose quiet manner hides considerable emotional pressure. The two are soon assigned a murder case after the body of Preet Bajwa is found in a barn belonging to her brother.
Preet had been living through a difficult period in her personal life. She was separated from her husband Sam, had disputes with her brother Baljinder and had made large financial decisions shortly before her death. Each of these details gives the police a new suspect or motive to examine.
Garundi and Dhanwant gradually reconstruct Preet’s final days. The investigation leads them towards Johnny Malang, family property disputes, financial transfers and relationships that members of the family would rather keep hidden. What first looks like a straightforward domestic murder becomes much harder to explain.
At the same time, both officers are struggling outside the station. Garundi is still trying to manage his family life, while Dhanwant and her husband Jagdish are dealing with grief that has damaged their marriage. These personal stories mirror the fractured relationships at the centre of the murder case.
The six episodes build the mystery through interviews, flashbacks and small contradictions rather than constant action. As more secrets emerge, the question becomes not only who killed Preet but why so many people around her had reasons to lie.
The season remains true to Kohrra’s slow-burn style. The crime drives the plot, but the larger focus is on guilt, family pressure, patriarchy, loneliness and the emotional damage people carry long after an event appears to be over.

What Makes Kohrra Season 2 Different?
