Census 2011 records state that the Dadra and Nagar Haveli state has 3.44 Lakh populations out of which 193,760 is male count and 149,949 is female count. The population growth in comparison to last decade is recorded as 55.88%, and it contributes 0.03 percent in a total population of India. It has the least literacy level ratio, and gender ratio has decreased in the last ten years instead of improving.

9. Uttar Pradesh:

Uttar Pradesh comes on the 9th in the list of the highest population Density states of the nation. It is one of the biggest states of Northern India and shares its border with Rajasthan, M.P, Haryana, and Bihar. The state also touches some part of Delhi region too. 8. Kerala:

7. West Bengal:

West Bengal comes on the 7th in the list of the highest population Density states of the nation. It is also ranked among the most populated states across the world. The state has wide culture and heritage which is reflected in literature to politics of the state. Hinduism is religion followed in the state. It has 88752 Km square of the area. As per the data computed by the Census department the state has 9.13 crores of the population out of which male and female count is 46,809,027 and 44,467,088 respectively. The state has recorded an overall growth percentage of 13.84%, which is less in comparison to the last decade percentage which was 17.84%. The state contributes 7.54% in the overall population of India.

6. Bihar:

Bihar, one of the famous state of Northern India. As per records, the state has an alarming rise in population in recent years.
