Who is The Brand Ambassador of Rajasthan?

The Rajasthan government has selected 19-year-old Avani Lekhara to serve as its brand ambassador for the project starting in 2021. India’s northern state is called Rajasthan. In terms of area, it is the largest Indian state, and in terms of people, it ranks eighth.

Shooter Avani Lekhara, who took home a gold medal from the Tokyo Paralympics, has been appointed by the Rajasthan government to serve as the state’s brand ambassador for the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative.

The Rajasthan government’s Department of Women and Child Development has named 19-year-old Avani Lekhara as its brand ambassador. Lekhara won the gold medal in the women’s 10m air rifle standing event in the SH 1 category at the Tokyo Paralympics.

She became the first Indian woman to secure a gold medal at the Paralympics in her first campaign. With her 249.6-point final performance, she set a new Paralympic record.

Lekhara, 19, is a Jaipur native who was involved in an accident in 2012 that left her wheelchair-bound. She had a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed below the waist.

Lekhara is the brand ambassador of Rajasthan.

Lekhara’s involvement, according to Shreya Guha, principal secretary of the Department of Women and Child Development, will foster a social climate that supports girls’ education.

Mamta Bhupesh, the minister of women and child development, stated that Avani’s achievements will encourage the state’s daughters to write their own stories of achievement. She congratulated her on her achievement and stated that by winning name and family, she had made the state proud and that Rajasthan’s daughters will be inspired to work hard in school and achieve success like hers.
